Because of our generous donors, we were able to serve 100,000 beneficiaries from food packages delivery across Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syrian IDPs and Egypt. The food packages contain staple items such as rice, sugar, sunflower oil, cheese, beans, tea, lentils, pasta, and other non-perishables.

SECTOR CONTEXT

The COVID-19 pandemic pushed tens of millions of people out of the middle-class and into vulnerability or poverty, with a disproportionate effect on developing countries, likely reversing decades of social gains and poverty reduction efforts.

Consumer food price inflation exceeded 15% in more than one third of low-income and lower middle-income countries.
